THE GLADEZMEN:
This three piece band of swamp freaks Fu#@ing! Rock! The Gladezmen are from deep in the swamps of south Florida, and it shows in their music, giving them a unique sound and style that’s truly all their own. This psycho trio is able to cover all the bases, from rockabilly to white boy rap!I call it Swampfunkapunkabilly! Maybe I should add that to Wikipedia!

Their new CD “Big Ol’ Monster” is another killer offering from this moonshine-drenched psycho trio. It’s sure to bring the swampabilly out of ya’ and have you dancing a jig like ol’ Jed Clampet from the Beverly Hillbillies! The lyrics and samples from old movies and TV shows are clever and funny. I don’t know; maybe it’s all the gator or possum meat combined with their moonshine-soaked brains that have allowed them to come up with their own unique style and sound. Or maybe it’s just some funky voodoo? I don’t know? All I do know is that I hope they keep it up because I want more!

BONE YARD:
“American Made” is not just the current PR gimmick from our elected idiots; it’s the new CD from Bone Yard. This band of American outlaws claims to be a southern rock band, but I’m not sure I would limit them to just that one category. With a sound reminiscent of bands like Alice in Chains and Soundgarden, you can see their rock-n-roll roots.
This 10-song disk contains rockin’ collections from power house tunes like Broken Halo and Hellz Angel, to lighter burners like “Dying on the vine”. It’s hard to say which song would be my favorite, they are all kick ass! One other interesting note about this album: the cover art is by band member (base) and demented low-brow artist Dog Mac.

BLOODY JUG BAND:

First Drops is the debut offering from The Bloody Jug Band. The lead vocals’ pairing of Cragmire and the lovely Stormy Jean is a nice mix of gravel and sugar.
This six-song EP is a snappy collection of classic country tunes spun with their own flavor, along with some of their own brand of original country honky tonk tunes, played with various unusual instruments, such as the one-string upright bass made from a wash tub and a stick, or moonshine jugs and a wash board, giving them a real down home good ol’ boy sound.
